Moscow-Sheremetyevo-Moscow: a new carsharing operator on the route

The car-sharing service Citydrive is now among the official partners of Sheremetyevo International Airport. This means that users of the service can complete their car rental for free on the airport premises or pick up a car upon arrival in Moscow. Parking spaces for car-sharing vehicles are located on the 2nd level of the parking lot of Terminal B (STK, Northern Terminal Complex) and the 2nd level of the parking lot of Terminal D (UTC, Southern Terminal Complex). Both locations can be easily found in the Citydrive mobile app: to do this, open the car map, tap the settings icon in the top right corner of the screen, and apply the "Designated Parking" filter. If you then tap on the blue parking marker, a window with detailed information about it will open. At Sheremetyevo, a convenient entry and exit algorithm based on license plate recognition is in place for car-sharing clients, without the use of a parking ticket. In most cases, the system successfully identifies the vehicle and issues a command to open the barrier. In cases where, due to adverse weather conditions, the vehicle's license plate cannot be read correctly, the client should press the call button at the barrier and follow the dispatcher’s instructions. The short-term car rental service Citydrive is available in mobile applications for iOS and Android. Currently, the operator's fleet consists of over 6,000 vehicles of various makes and comfort classes; the company's clients choose cars that suit them best.
